WEIGH STATIONS?
Does anyone know.... Its it ok to go to the weigh station that tractor trailer trucks use to weigh? We have been thinking about going to a place like this to weigh our truck, then weigh the truck and 5er just so we can know for sure what our weights are. Does anyone know anything about this. Is it ok? Would it work? Is it a good idea? Whatcha think? Thanks...The Family

This is interesting. There is so much mis-information out there. For 6 months we were pulling a TT that we were told was 7800 lbs dry. Come to find out it was really 10,200 lbs. We have been wanting to find a truck weight station and test for ourselves what are weight really is just to be sure. But dont know if we are permitted to do this. We just thought it would be a good way to know for sure. What do you think? Anyone every tried this before?
Pulling a 5th vs. TT is like...
We're considering changing from a TT to a 5th but we have never pulled a 5th, so we don't know the difference in the ride/pull. Share your opinions please. The difference between pulling a 5th and a TT is like.....
QUALITY DIFFERENCE? WHATS THE BEST?
Gone from tent, to pop-up, to travel trailer. Now want a 5th wheel. Is there major difference in the quality of 5th Wheel manufacturers? If so, what is the worst, what is middle line, and what is the best?
BEST TRUCK TO PULL 5th WHEEL
Want to upgrade to a 5th Wheel. The unloaded weight is 12,800. What type of truck will I need to comfortable pull this? Thanks!!:@ Currently have 08-Silverado 2500HD, Crew Cab, Gas, 3.73 axle. The owners manual of the truck says this is not good enough. Does anyone have any suggestions?

I agree with the Holiday Travel Park on Emerald Isle. The beach is nice. Outer Banks water is colder and kind-of rough for kids. But nothing beats Oceanlakes Family Campground at Myrtle Beach!:C
